About Jenny

I have been working in the fashion sector for over 35 years
If our paths have crossed you know that my word is my bond and I am a team player; totally straightforward and I work to exceptionally high standards. I hate letting anyone down!
My professional journey encompasses significant roles in both the public and private sectors. My expertise has been pivotal in launching fashion academies in different regions of the UK, shaping strategy for government bodies, providing consultancy to financial institutions, and assisting a myriad of brands and start-ups in reaching their full potential.
I am the founder of FashionCapital.co.uk, established in 2001, and Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) in 2006; both of which have been nurtured from start-ups to successful enterprises.
By 2022, FEL had a turnover of £5.2 million, with academies situated in Islington, Haringey, Leicester and Newtown in Wales, whilst employing close to 200 individuals.
The educational arm, the Fashion Technology Academy (fcfta.com), is at the forefront of vocational training, offering a range of technical qualifications from Levels 1 to 5, alongside apprenticeships from Levels 2 to 5. My personal commitment to education is reinforced by undertaking a Level 5 teaching qualification. I’m an Assessor and a qualified Internal Quality Auditor. Currently I’m undertaking a Level 5 qualification in Mental Health Well-Being.
This expertise underpins my belief that to truly excel in educational delivery, one must thoroughly comprehend the essence of quality assurance - a stance that is reflected in FEL's ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted.
As a trailblazer in technical fashion apprenticeships in the UK, FEL has excelled and set industry standards. For those aspiring to make their mark in the dynamic world of fashion, my experience serves as a guiding light towards achieving excellence at all levels
