There is an art to writing bids! I have successfully written and co-written bids for a wide cross section of programs such as Affordable Workspace for Islington Council (£10m over 10 years), ESF bid N17 Creative Callings, FCFTA in Leicester Community Renewal Fund and UK Prosperity Bid, a Tailoring Academy Haringey Council and funding from the Welsh Government when we opened FEL manufacturing in Newtown Powys.
In 2000 I worked for Business Link for London and then the London Development Agency until 2006. This is where I discovered a new language of outputs and outcomes, TOMs, interventions et al!
I originated the idea of The Factory Uncovered seminars which have proved to be highly successful. Now a wide cross section of retailers, FE and HE institutions and finanical institutions invite their investors and funders to have a deep dive into the industry best and malpractices.
